Aren't these cupcakes lovely? Which one do you prefer, the one on the left or the opposite?
Cupcake wraps make your cupcakes look more stylish and your decoration to a whole new level, but cupcake wraps are expensive stuffs. The one with butterfly design is the store-bought, 12 pieces for 59 sek (that's almost 10 dollars). I really don't like the idea of spending for something that is for decoration purposes only, if it will cost me almost ten dollar then it has be to edible :)
Well, you don't have to spend that much to achieve this type of look on your cupcakes, all you have to buy is paper doilies. You can make cupcake wraps out of paper doilies and it is way cheaper than buying them and you still getting the same or maybe better look. The doilies I bought have different sizes which are perfect if you have different sizes on your cupcakes or you want different sizes on your cupcake wraps itself
This the medium size doily and with this you could have three cupcake wraps that fits for normal size cupcakes (3x5cm)
I did not measure mine, I just tried the doily on my cupcake before cutting and just glued it together. I just used clear scotch tape on this, it is just a wrapper anyway, I am not going to eat it :)

can you see the difference? I don't! and I do prefer the cheaper one :)
